Danta Pastry Display

Made for a local bakery. Usually I prefer to use local timber, but the Danta in this piece was salvaged from a business auction's rubbish pile, so I was happy to use it.

Joinery: three-way half-blind mitred bridle joint (!)

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, traditional owners and custodians of the land on which I work, make, play and live. I acknowledge their ongoing connection to country, its waters, its sky, its trees, its animals and its rhythms. I give thanks, and pay my respects to their elders, past, present and future.
