About Me

I’m Aeron Saks, and I make! I love making usable art from beautiful materials that will last many years, and for me, the warmth of wood has no equal. My aim with any piece is to showcase the splendour and elegance of the natural material for any and all to enjoy.

I also love making custom pieces for people that suit their specific needs. Please get in touch to discuss what may be brewing.

I'm a woodworker with 25 years of woodworking experience, including nearly five years as a professional. Woodworking is in my blood, influenced by my father and grandfather who were both woodworkers.

As a conservationist and permaculturalist, I’m committed to sustainable practices, from sourcing reclaimed and ethically managed wood to using natural finishes, and supporting local small businesses wherever possible.

I live in Melbourne with my partner and our son.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, traditional owners and custodians of the land on which I work, make, play and live. I acknowledge their ongoing connection to country, its waters, its sky, its trees, its animals and its rhythms. I give thanks, and pay my respects to their elders, past, present and future.
